I am writing in connection with your recent advertisement on http://www.smiles.ie for the position of Dental Nurse.
I am very interested in this position as I have over 3 years experience as a Dental Assistant with Niall Mooney Dental Services in Fairview, where I carried out similar duties to this role i.e. managing dental instruments, materials and consent forms. I prepared and sterilised the instruments. I gained strong expertise in providing chair side assistance and hygienically disposing of clinical waste. Understanding the fact that most patients are terrified of a dentist’s chair my main aim was to make clients feel comfortable and provide them with excellent care before anything else.
I have completed a course in Dental Assistance, FETAC level 5 with Ballsbridge College, where I gained knowledge about First Aid and I also have completed a course in Teeth Whitening. I am an enthusiastic, and friendly team worker.
