Tell me about a time when you solved a problem
- Try of think of something at work that was difficult or challenging but that you dealt with well/successfully.
- Never speak negatively about your past colleagues or manager.
Example
I worked as a sales assistant in a little newsagents. One day the power went and I was unable to use the cash register and I used my quick thinking skills and decided to use a copybook and pen to keep a record of all the sales and I used my friendly and persuasive manner to ask clients for small change rather than large notes which would have been hard to change. I managed to keep the shop open and a record of all the transactions, when my boss came in that evening he was really happy with what I had done.
